The Addo Elephant National Park is less than an hour’s drive from the city centre of Gqeberha and is home to more than 600 African elephants, as well as a number of other exciting animal species. These include lions, zebras, rhinos, and a variety of antelope. In addition, over 400 bird species have been recorded in the park, including the ostrich and secretary bird.
The tours are conducted in comfortable closed vehicles, which means that the beauty and abundance of the park can be enjoyed in almost any weather conditions. Thanks to the impressive population of elephants and other wildlife, tourists are sure to see many of the local species and to have excellent photo opportunities.
After exploring Addo, a light picnic lunch is savoured under the high African skies and within the borders of the park. Attention to detail and our love of fine food make this a delightful al fresco experience!
